Coconut flour



Coconut flour gives your dishes a pleasantly mild and sweetish coconut flavor. It is made from 100% cold-pressed coconut pulp which is finely ground. Coconut flour is rich in dietary fiber and is a source of proteins as well as minerals such as potassium, magnesium and iron. Potassium and magnesium support normal muscular functions. The recommended daily portion is 35g (approx. 4 Tbsp.). A diversified, well balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle are important.

Usage
This flour can be used in fiber-rich smoothies, in mueslis and yoghurts. It can also be used to thicken soups, sauces and currys. In recipes, replace up to 25% of the cereal flour with coconut flour, knowing that 60g coconut flour is the equivalent of 100g regular flour. Add about twice the quantity of liquid in order to obtain the usual consistency as coconut flour absorbs a lot of liquid.
