Lupine flour, toasted

The lupine flour is very versatile due to its mild and nutty taste. It's a domestic source of protein, containing valuable vegetable proteins and fiber. Proteins contribute to the maintenance and build-up of muscles. Lupine flour is also source of zinc and magnesium. Magnesium contributes to a normal energy metabolism. The recommended daily portion is 40 g (about 4 to 5 tbsp). A diverse, well-balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle are important.

Usage
Perfect for the preparation of bread dough, paddies, cakes or as thickener for soups and sauces. Add also to smoothies and muesli. In recipes, replace up to 15% of the cereal flour with lupine flour, knowing that 60g lupine flour is the equivalent of 100g flour. 1 tbsp. lupine flour + 2 tbsp. water = 1 egg!
